WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

DRY FIRE & SAFETY BRIEF

In this crucial training aspect, participants will learn the fundamentals of marksmanship and firearms safety. We will then practice grip, sight picture, trigger pull, and drawing from a holster, all while using unloaded firearms.

1911 SEMI-AUTOMATIC

Retreat guests will first review the principles of marksmanship and firearms safety. After that we will take a deep dive into effective use of the 1911 Semi-Automatic pistol chambered in 22lr.

BOLT ACTION RIFLE

Participants will learn the use of a Savage Mk2 bolt action rifle fitted with tech sights and a GI Sling as it pertains to both action shooting and long distance precision shooting.

SPEED & ACCURACY

Attendees will push their limits of vintage firearms manipulation! They will attempt to shoot multiple targets quickly and transition between shooting positions while being timed to see how fast they can hit all the targets without missing! In this part of the training we will also be engaging moving targets!

MOVING TARGETS

In this session guests will engage multiple moving steel targets from a considerable distance with the bolt action rifle to see who can knock down more steel plates in a given time limit.

ACTION COMPETITION

Attendees will get to race through a tactical action shooting competition using the 1911!
