WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

ACTION SHOOTING

Saturday Dry-Fire Training: 7:30pm - 9:00pm

This is a crucial training session where students will learn the fundamentals of marksmanship and firearms safety. We will then go handgun and rifle grip, sight picture, trigger pull, drawing from a holster, speed reloading firearms, and safely moving between shooting positions all while using unloaded firearms and training pistols. This session will be held at Bay Jiu-Jitsu.

Sunday Rifle Live-Fire Session: 10:00am - 12:00pm

Students will review the principles of marksmanship and firearms safety. After that we will go over the basic principles and techniques of "Action Shooting," a category of shooting sports that involves elements like shooting multiple targets quickly and moving while shooting. This session will be entirely done with a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 22lr.

Sunday Pistol Live-Fire Session: 1:30pm - 4:00pm

Students will review the principles of marksmanship and firearms safety with a semi-automatic handgun. After that we will go over our action shooting skill set again, but with the appropriate modifications required for the difficult to master skill of centerfire pistol shooting.

Sunday '2 Gun' Live-Fire Session: 4:30pm - 6:30pm

In our final shooting session, students will get to test their skills in a timed action stage that requires use of both the rifle and the handgun with multiple reloads, moving targets, and fast footwork.
